Hi, I'm Kyle.
I grew up in San Diego, attended the University of Alabama where I was an Academic All-American swimmer, worked at Apple for 4 years, then decided that I'd apply for a scholarship for culinary school.
My experiences as a student-athlete at Alabama and as an analyst at Apple both taught me a lot about how to best utilize my time and resources to maximize results, but it was my experience at culinary school interning in a Michelin-Starred kitchen that truly made me want to write about the subject. The kitchen was a well-oiled machine like I had never seen before. I had to share it with those that would never see it. And hence, Six Pan was born.
